Laure Meloy is a soprano, producer, and writer.
Recent projects include Gutrune Götterdämmerung with Longborough Festival Opera, the world premiere of Edward Lambert’s Masque of Vengeance, Brünnhilde Die Walküre for Grimeborn Opera Festival, and ONE ART, a monodrama about Elizabeth Bishop, at Tête à Tête Opera Festival – the companion CD winning the HPR International Art Song Contest.
She is a specialist of challenging modern repertoire, including Hecuba in ETO’s Olivier Award winning King Priam, and Ariel in Thomas Adès’ The Tempest with the Hungarian State Opera, a role she also covered for the Metropolitan Opera and ROH Covent Garden.
Her book, From Aïda to Zaïde: scribblings of a mad soprano, came out in 2020.
